May Giveaway

It's really close to the end of the month, but still enough time for this month's giveaway.







Yes, I'm giving away another Chunky Crocheted Basket. I used Lion Brand Hometown USA in Portland Wine...this is the super bulky yarn. I used a little over 2 skeins and followed the pattern. Measurements are the same as the original basket. Click on the link above to see the details about the basket.

This purple was a mistake. I made this for someone who wanted blue or green. I don't know what I was thinking:D 

I'm half crazy as usual :) Life can be so overwhelming at times and my brain just doesn't function as it should all the time.

So I went out and bought more yarn in a turquoise shade of blue and decided to give this purple one away. 






For those of you who wanted the basket from the giveaway a few months ago, here you go. Just leave me a comment letting me know you want this one.

Next Saturday I'll randomly choose a winner.

    I love this so much better than the other one..this one is exciting and royal. Would love to see it in the new home I will be moving into. It would be a great punch of color....inviting and enticing me to crochet some more.

    The purple is amazing!     I love this! I tried to make one and it was difficult to use two strands with the smaller hook. I use mine for a onion basket! Hmmmm.... what to do with a purple one? I think coloring books and crayons for the great nieces and nephews that come to visit!

    i just found your blog and got so excited and then saw i was way to late....lol but anyways i am in love with your baskets and wanted to say thanks for sharing your patterns...i am a beginner hooker and i dont read patterns as well as i do the videos...i watch a video and i can just pick up the hook and make it just like that,, but to understand the lingo is a whole new ballgame to me..so if you ever do a video this old lady wud love it...and again thank you for sharing you lovely talents with us...i am enjoying crocheting and loving watching and reading in my new found world!!! always a follower and friend michele

    I am a basket fanatic myself and love purple. I used to own a purple Chrysler a few years back. But, I would love to win this purple basket as that is the color I'm using to decorate my living room area and it would go nicely with my new furniture covers that I've ordered.
